Despite all the time and expenses put into the process, if the oils don't meet Young Living standards, they do not sell it. Period. That's another reason why to use YL, you can trust the quality. CYPRESS ESSENTIAL OIL - with 280 known chemical constituents.

  • If it is distilled for 20 hours you only get 20 properties.
  • If distilled for 26 hours you get NONE of the properties. 
  • Most market cypress is distilled for 3.5 hours. 
  • The correct length of time for distilling cypress is 24 hours to get the full 280 properties. 
If you want the best Cypress, the kind that does the job it's intended to do, you need to distill it properly, fo rate right amount of time. Here's the deal: most of the oils sold do not go through the same processes that Young Living oils do. The overwhelming majority of essential oil companies out there do not own their own farms. As a result, they do not have control over how the plants are planted, cared for, harvested, distilled or tested. They buy in bulk, fill their own bottles and slap a label and call it good. Do you want to know where your oils come from, if they were sprayed, how they were cared for? I know I do!

What I also want are pure oils that aren't bought in bulk, diluted with synthetic fillers, and then sold to us for our family's use. It's not use replacing chemicals with essential oils filled with chemicals, right? I want oils that have come from plants from farmers I trust, from a company that owns their own farms and distilleries, that have invested decades of time, effort, innovation, sweat, tears, and yes, money, into the process.
