Let's meet Thieves Foaming Hand Soap!

My hands never feel dried out even after washing them constantly, and the scent that lingers for a while is lovely. I'm very comforted by the fact that my skin is absorbing all the benefits of the Thieves oils as well.

There are 3 concerning chemicals in conventional hand soap:

+ Sodium lauryl sulfate: this chemical is evidenced to create skin dryness or contact dermatitis (skin rash). It is what makes products foam, but there’s a better way. In Canada, it is classified as a chemical that is “toxic or harmful.”

+ Triclosan: antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal agent. Issues that have arrived are: contact dermatitis, photo contact dermatitis (a rash that occurs after using the product and then being exposed to the sun), toxic to algae in water (environmental concern), and in Japan and Canada it is restricted in cosmetics. Not to mention, endocrine disruption and allergenic/immune effects.

+ Fragrance: the word "fragrance" or "parfum" means there is an undisclosed number of different scent chemicals and ingredients. These mixes have been associated with allergies, skin issues, respiratory distress, and potential effects on the reproductive system.

I don’t know about you but I am saying NO THANK YOU to these chemicals that will end up doing harm in the long run instead of supporting my body.

*Pro tip: You can dilute 1/2 a bottle of Thieves hand soap and fill the rest with distilled water- two bottles in one!

This is an easy step to take, the  small change in soap for yourself or your family can change the way you combat cold season which is the best kind of preventative health!

Now go wash those hands!
