How to use ER points

You've been collecting rewards points like a kid in a candy shop, but now what?
How do you actually use them?

I was talking to a friend at lunch and she wasn't sure how to cash her free ER points, so I figured there were others out there who may be sitting on a stockpile of points not knowing what to do next! But first, here are some quick FAQs on ER points.

Every time you place an Essential Rewards (ER) order, you earn a % back in PV Points. For months 1-3, you earn 10% back; months 4-24 you receive 20% back, and after month 25, you receive 25% back! These points add up FAST!

How are points calculated?

Every item you purchase on ER will have a PV point attached to it. You will receive the % back based on the PV amount per item.

How will I know the PV amount?

When you look at the product in the virtual office, or website, you will notice a dollar $ amount of the item as well as a PV amount. Your cart before you checkout will also show you the final $ as well as PV amounts.

When can I use my points?

You may cash in your points after 2 consecutive months of ordering on ER. You can also save up your points to use later. Many of us save up for holidays, Christmas, birthdays! It's fun to cash the points in for free items!You can only redeem points on products that are eligible for redemption, and when you have enough points to cover the entire PV amount of that item.

What is the difference between ER points and Account credits?

ER points are % earned on your monthly ER order, where you earn 10-25% back in points from everything you purchase. Account credits are monetary credits either placed by Young Living, or by your upline, for various reasons. For example, currently in Canada, when you place your 100PV+ ER order between the 1st to 5th of every month, you can receive a $10 product credit. This credit can be used as cash towards your ER or regular orders.

How do I check on my ER points?

Young Living keeps a running tally of your points and points redemptions. In your virtual office (VO), click on Monthly Order > Rewards Points to check your points balance and when they expire. To check on Points Earnings and Redemption, click on Monthly Order > Rewards Points History.

What are some Pro Tips you have for me?

One of the best times to use ER points are when items come back in stock, and you've already placed your monthly order. By cashing in your points, you can still jump on getting the back in stock item without having to pay for another order. Alternatively, you can call in to customer service for a second ER and earn points on that back in stock item. Either way is a win win!
